The "Players" Go Gay
After "The Merchant of Venice" and then "The Mousetrap", the New Zealand Players went gay for this week's production in Gisborne.
"Free and Easy" was a musical revue with a title in keeping with its theme and spirit. It recalled for many of the audience the Players' earlier success with "Salad Days".
It is the last show produced for the Players by Richard Campion before his term as artistic-producer ends in December.
