TAIRAWHITI MAORI RUGBY LEAGUE REPS v TUHOE MAORI TEAM

The Ngitai [Ngai] Tuhoe Maori Team is a selection of players from 9 Clubs including: Auckland, Waikato, B.O.P., Wellington, Waimana, Ruatoki and Taneatua. Gisborne East Coast Rugby League Development Officer, Dave Ahu, assisted with the selection of the side that played here. This was their 1st game in a series leading to the National Maori Tournament, to be held in Whangarei, on Labour Weekend.
