JAMBOREE
The Gisborne /Wairoa Scout Contingent which attended the 16th Asia Pacific 14th NZ Jamboree in Te Anau consisted of 35 boys and girls (10½ to 14½ yrs of age) with 8 adults. They participated in outdoor adventure hikes, heli hikes around Milford Sound, rafting, sailing, rock sculptures, abseiling, a visit to Manaupuri Power Station and did a Commando Course called Waiau Maze.
