RISING SUNS

A top of the table clash between North Harbour and our own Smokefree Rising Suns kept the crowd on the edge of their seats right down to the last few minutes. The Suns took off to an early lead with a fast pace that suited their attacking style. Gradually North Harbour managed to draw ahead, slowed the game down to protect their small lead in the closing minutes even gaining ground with a couple of free throws. The final score 109-96. Disappointment for the Suns even though they are still on for the Top Four Finals where the 2 top teams of the Northern Conference meet the 2 top teams of the Southern Conference.
