Marlin Magic

"The achievement of an aim" is how Alain Jorion described his prize catch. Alain has written a book Grand Slam Hunting based on his trophy collecting within NZ. His 145kg striped marlin was 2.7m long + 600mm bill with a 1.1m girth took about an hour to land onto Freedom his 5.7m boat. It is a Tatapouri Club record (pending) on 24kg gear.
