OVERHEAD AT THE ODEON

Seats from the Odeon have been moved to a smaller theatre behind the projector room allowing screenings to continue as the main theatre undergoes some major changes.

This is where celluloid meets the lamp and converts the frames to moving pictures. The projector is one of two purchased in 1959 and they were made in Milano, Italy.

The new, smaller theatre which will provide the same excellent big screen, solid sound entertainment that only the cinema can create.

Darrington Slater has a close association with the cinema and his knowledge was incorporated into the major alterations.
