The Poverty Bay Charity Dog Trial Club held another successful round of competitions at Patutahi this year. Funds raised at the trials will go towards the Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society.

Winner of the Leopard Breweries award in the Sunday runoff were Alan Rolls and Twig. An innovation this year was the Christie's Ltd., trophy which was donated for the lady competitor gaining most points.

The winner was Mrs C. Coward.
