PRIZE of a year's free subscription to "Gisborne Photo News" for this month's competition goes to this study of local artist Norman Scott at work in Cobden Street. He is painting vicarage.

P. Armstrong, of Tatanui, Morrinsville, is responsible for this snap taken at Waingake. He explains: "We sold this cow to a farmer who said the cow was no good. Then he found the cow was eating the pig's food, and the pig was feeding off the cow. Everybody admired the condition of the pig (Miss Clutha)".
