Norden Cup Hockey Loss
The Nordon Cup, symbol of hockey supremacy in New Zealand's minor unions, was won by Tauranga when they netted the ball in the last minute of play to defeat Poverty Bay by one goal to nil at the Childers Road Reserve last month.
The game was marred by injuries, six of the P.B. players receiving medical attention.
A feature of the match was the 16 penalty corners awarded to Tauranga compared with the home side's one.
