Fantastic Hairstyles
A parade of fantastic hairstyles, in which 21 models took part, was presented at the second annual Poverty Bay Master Ladies' Hairdressers Ball, held in the War Memorial Hall on a Monday evening last month.
A highly successful function, the ball was highlighted by the parade, which featured all manner of creations, from brilliantly multi-coloured fantasy efforts, to more conventional evening styles.
A striking pink evening style entitled "Chapeau de Mer" was modelled by Dianne Howe, and styled by Dorothy Wallis.
"Mistique", a fantasy style created by Jacque Johnson, and modelled by Diane Blick, was one of the many eye-catching hair-do's paraded at the ball.
Watched by a portion of the audience, Pat Lesley parades her hair-do "Modern Trend", by Kathleen Dillon, around the dance floor.
